“Dr. Prabhdeep Singh, President of the Imperial County Medical Society announced that the Society will begin accepting applications for its PHD (Proud, Hardworking, and Determined) Program scheduled to begin in the fall.

The purpose of the PHD Program is to identify, and mentor high school students who:

  • Have demonstrated a dedication to their studies
  • Are committed to attending college
  • Are known for their personal integrity
  • Have expressed an interest in the Sciences
  • Are eligible for a work permit

This program is specifically targeted at promoting the personal, academic and professional growth of students, with the intent of showing those students the application of their individual potentials in the field of Medicine.”
