Overview

The Imperial County Medical Society is a professional association representing physicians from our local community, most in private practice or working at either or both of our local hospitals. Our physicians are aware of the unique challenges presented to both physicians and patients in a rural setting and they are committed to ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality of care.

For more than 50 years, ICMS has been at the forefront of current medicine, ensuring that its members are represented in the areas of public policy, government relations and community relations.

Through its advocacy efforts in both Imperial County and the California Medical Association, our physician leaders and staff strive toward a common goal – that our members might spend more time treating patients and less time worrying about the challenges of managing a practice.

Vision

The Imperial County Medical Society continues to work with CMA and the San Diego County Medical Society to provide the highest quality services to our physician members for their professional needs as we work as an advocate for improving 
doctor-patient relationships in the healthcare community.
